2+2 Flute Compression

Armada's Compression Cutting Tools are used extensively for cutting double side laminates such as melamine or plywood. Armada’s compression tools have a two or three flute design that combines both upcut and downcut spirals achieving a sharp, clean edge on your workpiece. The bottom of the material is being pulled upwards while the top of the material pushes downwards, eliminating the risk of damaging either surface. Armada uses a submicron-grain carbide to manufacture all their tools to extend sharpening life.

Matrix Coated

This matrix coating is specifically engineered to create a 30-40% longer life. Recoating with every sharpening will maximize the life between sharpening.

2+2 Flute

A combination of two upcut flutes and two downcut flutes will maximize the edge quality from the top and the bottom of the material you are cutting.
