Down Spiral Cutting Tools
Armada's Down Spiral Cutting Tools are used when the top surface needs to be protected. Armada’s down spiral routers have a two or three flute design that creates a smooth upward-facing edge. While using a down spiral router the chips will be flying downwards. Armada uses a submicron-grain carbide to manufacture all their tools to extend sharpening life.
Armada is now offering Matrix Coating on their cutting tools. This Matrix coating is specifically engineered to create a longer life by about 30-40%.
LOW HELIX DOWN SPIRAL
Armada’s Low Helix Down Spiral Router Cutting Tools have a lower helix angle which produces less lifting on hard plastic materials or solid surfaces. Our Low Helix Down Spirals have a two or three flute design, creating a smooth upward-facing edge. Armada uses a sub-micro grain carbide to manufacture all their tools to extend sharpening life.
